Curiosity Blesses Me

Curiosity Blesses Me

When I was in high school and college, there were 2 things that I never had much interest in: English Lit and history. In the last few years, I have been fascinated by learning history and reading biographies of famous and influential people. I have an insatiable curiosity for almost anything historical.

It has been a tremendous blessing also in my spiritual growth. I am today more open to different perspectives, and that has helped my understanding and acceptance of different mindsets. I feel learning tolerance could be a way that we could elevate our society.

I worked in various capacities at the wonderful Barnes and Noble (yearly voted in the top 4 retail and customer service companies in the world.) I retired last April after 25 years. This company is not only exemplary to customers but to its employees, and probably one of the reasons I stayed so long. They rewarded me with a lifetime 5o% employee discount. Almost unspeakable generosity.

So I took advantage of this yesterday and spent 2 hours shopping (using my trusty rollator), just shopping my heart out. History books, commentaries, spiritual and new age and philosophy books, and anything that spirit led me to read.

So what I am saying today is that curiosity can lead not only to new knowledge but also help open so many new possibilities and purpose in your life and give you the most magical abilities to share with clients or the collective powerfully.
