Why grounding helps my Spiritual Practice

You can have spiritual wisdom and gifts, but if you are not grounded, it becomes difficult to bring your intentions into reality or the earth plane

Some grounding methods: Bring your attention to the present moment Connecting to Nature Drumming or rattling, Forms of meditation Envision yourself with deep roots like an oak tree Rhythmic deep breathing

If you are preparing for a tarot reading, energy healing, ritual, or meditation, take some deep breaths, put your feet flat on the floor, and set your intention with clarity, wisdom, and compassion Afterwards, clear yourself and move on Here is a good affirmation you can use:

I am rooted in the present moment. I am calm, Supported and open to wisdom. My Spirit reaches upward while my feet are firmly rooted Planted.

Not only will grounding help you stay aligned and at peace, but it will also make your practice more effective. It can also assist you if you become overwhelmed or find yourself moving or talking too fast

A few questions to ponder or write about in your journal:

1. Why do my readings seem rushed? Like, I am trying to fit everything in? 2. Why are my meditations not giving me the peace or focus I had hoped for 3. Why does the same scenario keep replaying in my mind ?
